SEATTLE —A small puppy that was exposed to fentanyl and saved by firefighters is now in the care of Seattle Humane.
The puppy, named Espresso, was discoveredunresponsive in a car where fentanyl was foundon July 15 in Lacey.
Crews from the Lacey Fire Department used their training and administered a small dose of Narcan to save the puppy’s life.

The puppy was transferred to Seattle Humane for care and has been given a clean bill of health. His adoption status is pending.
